bp Khazzan, located 350 km from Muscat, southwest of Muscat, was a large, remote, greenfield project. It is now producing and processing gas from its first 60 wells in a field that will significantly contribute to Oman’s domestic supplies.

Carillion Alawi was responsible for constructing the Khazzan Operations Base, the Khazzan Residential Complex, Mosque, and many other infrastructure buildings located across the site.

During this period, we worked closely with bp to develop a thorough understanding of the site and ensure adherence to bp’s working practices, including Health and Safety, Permit to Work system, and security and welfare standards.
