At Carillion Alawi, we take our welfare standards seriously and believe that everyone has the right to be treated in a manner that ensures their well-being, health, safety, and security, inside and outside of the workplace.
The adoption and compliance of these standards will be a prerequisite of Carillion Alawi when selecting Supply Chain partners for all existing and future projects. These standards will be monitored and enforced for the benefit of all workers on its projects.
These principles reflect those of the ‘Dhaka Principles’ – a set of human rights-based principles which enhance respect for the rights of migrant workers from the moment of recruitment, during overseas employment, and through to further employment and safe return to their home countries. The principles are based on the UN’s Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
