At Carillion Alawi, we have reacted promptly and efficiently to meet new challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic to ensure the continued range of services we deliver.
Our approach to the coronavirus pandemic is of paramount importance, as without control measures, contingency plans, and revised operating procedures in place, we would be unable to operate effectively.
The health and well-being of our colleagues and customers are a priority, and we take all steps necessary to ensure our customers and colleagues can work safely. This may be via home working for those who can and ensuring that those on the front line operate safely.
We are proud to announce that 100% of our staff have now received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. This is a vital initiative to keep our people safe and ensure that we can continue delivering essential services to our customers. We have supported the Government of Oman and the Supreme Committee to meet the coronavirus challenge throughout the pandemic.
At all levels of the business, we have put control measures in place to keep risks to a minimum. We have worked hard to protect the health and well-being of our staff, including enabling working from home for those that can and ensuring those on the front line are operating safely.
Our camp in Muscat was one of the first in Oman to have been inspected and approved for health, safety, hygiene, quarantine measures, and compliance by the Ministry of Health. At the pandemic’s start, we also adopted proactive work from home arrangements to ensure that we created enough distance in the office only for those who needed to attend the workplace.
